Little Millie Gets a Brand New Start! When Millie was found wandering the streets of Culver by one of our volunteers you could tell that she had a rough start in life and never really known what it was like to be loved by a human. So after getting a quick trim she was swept off to a foster home to learn that to wag your happy tail was awesome, sleeping belly up on the bed was fun, and taking walks through the park on a cool spring afternoon was exciting. Millie, who only knew how to do tight little circles which is usually caused from being in very confined spaces, caught on quickly and within 2 weeks found herself taking her first full walk in the park with her head held high and her tail wagging in the wind. Her foster parents were so proud! Neal and Carla heard about Millie from their daughter after she made her debut on the morning news with our staff member Wendy, talking about her story. The next day they came in and cuddled with sweet Millie, who sunk into Carla's arms. Neal and Carla are amazing animal owners who aren't afraid of animals with challenges, or with a history. After a meet and greet with their animals we knew that Millie couldn't be in a better home with more loving people. Congratulations to Millie on her new forever family (and her new extended family)! You deserve your great new start in the world and we know that with your great new family, you will have all the love and snuggles you will ever need.
