Scottie (previously Link) came to our shelter one shy and scruffy looking guy. He immediately headed to a foster home since he needed some special tender love and care, not to mention a trim donated by Bark Avenue Pet Grooming! In foster care Scottie started to show off his goofy side and how his tail just loves to wag a million miles a minute anytime he sees kitties, dogs, people, bunnies, pacman frogs…. well let's just say everyone. Come to find out this once scared pooch loves to play and is quite the dancer to boot! So as Scottie was finding out how fast he could wag his tail, Linda Lou here had been slowly working back up to finding a new buddy after losing her's a few years ago. Once she saw Scottie she knew there was something different about this dog. She had looked at many other dogs in the past, but still hadn't been ready to take the big commitment towards a new four legged friend. Two days later after first seeing Scottie she came to meet Scottie again, Linda turned to her daughter….. "I think it's time to find my new buddy, and I think I found him". We now hear they are doing great and are talking walks daily at Smith Rock, along with Scottie's new dad Eric and cat Clyde who likes to come too. Apparently Scottie loves to kiss the horses down the street as they walk by each day. Scottie has just started beginner dog training here at the shelter with Linda and is catching on fast! Congratulations to Linda Lou and Scottie (previously Link)!
