After 1.5 months of connecting and talking with Greg Breece (who adopted a three times returned dog from BrightSide maybe 5 years ago and who now lives on Oregon's coast), he drove over with his male shepherd to meet ….HERO!!!! Greg is a veteran big dog rescuer and owner and he wanted Hero to join his family and have his 13 year old daughter train him for her 4-H group. 13 years? Hero — a loveable, unschooled, young and energetic, magnificent dobie-shepherd cross of a big dog? Wow….and it worked! Hero is now a member of their family and goes running in the sand dunes, running on backwoods logging roads with the three dogs and people. We could not have asked for a better match for this raw and energetic and wonderful dog than the Breece family — people who know and love and work well with big dogs….How wonderful!
