CAT OF THE WEEK! (JUST ADOPTED 5-23-15) Meet our amazing Mr. MUNSON – a master of the Cat Dancer, his favorite toy. This charming boy will keep you amused for hours with his adorable antics. You would never guess it, but Munson was a very tiny and sickly, month old kitten when he first came to us 11 months ago, weighing barely 1 pound. It took many months of ongoing care and TLC from our extraordinary medical team, but he is now healthy, extremely gorgeous, and ready to move on to his forever home. If you’re not too impressed with Munson when you first meet him at the shelter, it’s only because he’s not a pushover. He doesn’t perform on demand. Once he gets to know you better, he will drop the 'skitzy kitty' act and start showing his sparkling personality. Talk to our cat adoption counselors for suggestions on the best way to introduce him to your home. The ideal home for Munson will be indoor only, fairly calm and quiet. He may always be a little timid around strangers, but he will bond with his ‘people’ and be a wonderful, social, affectionate pet. He is used to being around other cats and mellow, well-trained dogs and would do well with a companion or two. Munson will be most comfortable with adults and older children who can learn how to play with him properly. Remind us to send his Cat Dancer toy home with you so you can put on your dancing shoes and let the fun begin!
