Cheryl, our "Girl Friday" (every Friday front desk volunteer), adopted ROBERTO the Lionhead rabbit whom she also calls Thumper. Cheryl reports that she's never grated so many carrots (their favorite treat) in her life before, since adding this second bunny to her family. She also shares that she feels privileged to have been volunteering with us since January and writes "just wanted to share with the Brightside Animal Center Community on Facebook as this shelter is a very special place and brings the animals as well as human beings together in a close-knit community".
