Dillion Finds His Blind Hero! Many of you may recognize Cowboy the basset hound's mom in this picture, Kasey! She just happen to be getting some training from one of our own trainers Teri in Bend a few weeks ago with her dog Cowboy. During training Teri talked about the desperate need for a home for a dog named Dillion. He is a dog that is mostly blind and shelter life was just too hard on him…. so much so that he was becoming a different dog. It was time to act and get this guy the home he deserved and Teri was calling out for help! Kasey, already having one blind guy, decided why not two? And came to the shelter to meet Dillion and see if she could be the hero we all were looking for. A few weeks later and we hear everyone is doing great at home! Congratulations to Dillion, Cowboy, and Kasey! Thank you for giving this guy a home and the chance he needed when it seemed like all of his options were gone. And to Teri… you are an amazing cheerleader!! Thanks for pushing for our animals each and everyday. It's because of your voice that Dillion found Kasey.
