Thank you, everyone for the generosity, kind words and care shown toward Lawrence.
After a rapid decline in his health the last few days, Lawrence passed over the rainbow bridge April 18. We are thankful that he came to us when he did and was able to feel loved, safe and happy. We are thankful for the overwhelming donations from our community that came together to help Lawrence get the help he deserved. We are thankful to the vet staff here at Brightside Animal Center and at Highland Vet Clinic in Redmond for their endless efforts to make Lawrence comfortable and pain-free. Lastly we are thankful for our trainer, Mandy, who was with Lawrence during his last moments making sure he felt only love and happiness.

We don’t know what Lawrence’s past looked like and if he could talk for 10 minutes we are sure it would be a story everyone would love to hear. What we do know is that dogs like Lawrence are everywhere. That is why we have decided to create a “Lawrence Fund” for all animals who come to BrightSide with untold stories and desperately needing extra medical care.

We have high hopes that Lawrence will live on through his fund and through all the animals we are able to help in the future. We all can agree that something about Lawrence was extra special. He made everyone take a minute slow down and just enjoy life a little. If you would like to contribute to the Lawrence Fund, please click the button:

Thank you!

Lawrence, for whom the Lawrence Fund is named, was a Doberman who needed a lot of medical care.
