Meet MAYA's new family and their rescue dog, Doc. This is such a happy occasion for many reasons. Maya formerly Sadie or Lady has been in and out of our shelter system since 2010 having been adopted several times and returned through no fault of her own. Her new family has adopted rescue dogs in the past so understands the transition process. The young couple is delighted with Maya and said she is exactly what they were looking for. And she was delighted with them, sleeps on her own bed in their room, and is buds with Doc, This is an outdoorsy couple who spend a great deal of time fishing, camping, and bird hunting. We think this is the perfect home for Maya and wish everyone well in the transition. Thank you for adopting a special gal!
