Oh, my! I just love riding in shopping carts – and cars too! My name is Thistle, but my foster mom and dad call me Jewel because they say I am a "little jewel." The picture was taken at Home Depot where my foster dad and I were picking up a few items for a project we're working on. Thank goodness I was picked up as a stray and taken to Brightside. I was terribly thin but I just didn't feel like eating at the shelter so that's when my foster parents took me to their home until someone special sees me and takes me to their home to live forever. I am gaining weight and feel much better. I love to sit on laps and to give kisses. I also really like treats. My foster parents are working with me on some commands and they think I am very smart. My age estimate is 7 years, but I feel and act much younger.
