Today is Giving Tuesday and we hope you’ll mark the occasion with a donation to BrightSide. It costs more than $1 million a year to do the things we do: To find new forever homes (949 adoptions last year), to reunite lost pets with their families (275 pets returned to their owners), to perform low-cost spay/neuter surgery on pets whose owners wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford surgery (784 surgeries on the public’s animals, plus 780 spay/neuters on shelter animals), not to mention the expense of providing foster care for animals who are too young, too old or too ill to be adopted.
