REX, a 4-6 year old yellow lab, went home with his Portland adopter, Ron, on Sunday! Ron reports: "The back of my neck has never been so clean — Rex either slept or licked me the entire trip back!" When asked how things were going, Ron said, "They couldn't be better. Rex slept soundly through the night last night….like he hadn't had a good night's sleep in some time. He's wandered around the yard, peed on everything outside and hasn't peed inside at all…and has met the altered feral cats that come over for dinner with no problems." Ron said he'd been looking for a best friend and fishing companion for 3 months now and really liked it that we did cat tests "on demand", dog tests "on request", and screened as thoroughly and politely as we did. We couldn't be happier Ron found Rex and we are ecstatic these two buds will be hittin' the streams and rivers soon — way to go Ron and Rex!
