The Colonoscopy and the Kitty! Little did Deja know that it would take staff member Wendy's husband Ike to get a colonoscopy for her to finally get her adoption day to arrive. Deja is a very special kitty, the very last of many that came from a hoarding situation here in town. All of them found amazing homes but little Deja decided that she would wait for just the perfect one to come along. Then Linda arrived. Linda was the terrific nurse that helped Ike at the hospital and happened to mention she was ready for a new little one to add to the family once she found out that Wendy worked at BrightSide! Once Ike healed up and was released back out to the world, Linda came in to see who would decide to come home with her. After meeting a few new four-legged friends, Deja was the one that stole her heart. Linda, we want to thank you for not only helping get Wendy's Ike put back together… but giving our last little girl Deja, from a story that impacted each and every one of us here at the shelter so deeply, a place to finally call her own. We love happy endings like these. Congratulations to Deja and her new family! We can't wait to hear updates in the near future.
