There were almost tears in the house when loveable LANE went home Thursday. His new family, Mark & Chelsea, put in hours and hours of walking Lane with their two other big dogs to be sure that all three dogs made a smooth transition beyond the meet and greet. Shelter workers, who had all fallen in love with Lane, were doing "the happy dance" to see Lane with such a dedicated family. And, we're delighted to share that Lane's new dad is becoming an official volunteer dog walker soon. Happy dance all over again !!!
