We Deliver! Andrea and Pat met their new family member, Lila, today. One of Lila's two foster moms personally drove Lila to the family's Bend home. It was the least we could do for an adoption long time in its coming. Lila came in at 5 weeks of age and soon thereafter developed puppy strangles, a pretty rare infection that most people associate only with horses. Easily cured, it just set back Lila's going to a new home until our doc made sure she was well on her way to recovery. That she is and Andrea and Pat waited patiently for their little girl — and already have her signed up for a vet visit, puppy classes, and plenty of socialization with friends and family members. We appreciate the many wonderful homes who came forth and are happy, yet sorry, we had only one pup!
